1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using any Ocrlab application (“Ocrlab App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.If you do not agree, do not use the software.
2. License Grant
Ocrlab App are licensed, not sold.You receive a revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to install and use the software on your personal devices.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
- Resell, sublicense, or distribute the software
- Circumvent licensing or security mechanisms
All rights not expressly granted remain with the developer.
3. Local‑First Software
Ocrlab App operate as local‑first utilities.All in‑app data remains on your device unless you explicitly export or transmit it.The developer does not access, collect, or store your local content.
4. Updates & Changes
We may provide updates, patches, or improvements.Some updates may be required for continued functionality or security.We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.
5. Third‑Party Services
Ocrlab App may interact with third‑party websites or services.We are not responsible for:
- External website content
- Third‑party data practices
- Cookies, tracking, or analytics performed by external sites
Your use of third‑party services is governed by their respective terms.
6. Payment Processing
All purchases are processed by third‑party payment providers, including:
- Stripe
- PayPal
- Any future reputable payment processor
By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms and privacy policies of the payment processor used at checkout.
We do not store or access your full payment credentials.
7. Mandatory Transactional Emails
Transactional emails are required to complete your purchase and maintain your license.These include:

- License delivery

These are delivered through reputable email providers such as Brevo.You cannot opt out of transactional emails.

Ocrlab App are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, including:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non‑infringement
- Continuous or error‑free operation
You assume all risks associated with using the software.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ocrlab is not liable for:
- Data loss
- Device issues
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of revenue, productivity, or business
Your sole remedy is to discontinue use.
11. Termination
We may revoke your license if you violate these Terms.You may terminate your license at any time by uninstalling the software.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
Refund Policy
13. Digital Product Nature
Ocrlab App are digital software licenses delivered electronically.Once a license is issued, the product is considered delivered.
14. Refund Eligibility
Ocrlab offers a 14‑day unconditional refund window from the date of purchase.
A refund may be granted if:
- You request it within 14 days of purchase
- You provide the email used for the order
- You have not abused the refund system
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
15. Non‑Refundable Situations
Refunds are not provided when:
- The request is made after 14 days
- The license was purchased by mistake but already activated
- The product was used extensively and the refund appears abusive
- The issue arises from third‑party website behavior
- The issue arises from unsupported system modifications
